Spiders in southern Utah
St. George is great spider habitat: warm almost all year, full of rock and block walls to hide in, and packed with the insects spiders eat. Most of what you'll find around a home is harmless, like cellar spiders and orb weavers, but black widows are very common here, wolf spiders wander in from the yard, and the desert recluse lives in the native desert around town. True brown recluse spiders aren't established in Utah, but desert relatives can turn up in garages and storage. Since spiders come inside chasing other bugs, real control means dealing with the whole pest picture, not just the webs.
Why it matters
Most southern Utah spiders are harmless, but black widows are medically significant, other bites can still cause reactions, and heavy webbing around a home points to a larger insect problem.

Are spiders dangerous?
Most southern Utah spiders are harmless, but black widows are medically significant, other bites can still cause reactions, and heavy webbing around a home points to a larger insect problem.
How do you get rid of spiders?
We follow a straightforward approach: remove webs from eaves, corners, and entryways during each service; treat cracks, voids, and hiding spots where spiders shelter; reduce the insect population they depend on for food; set an exterior barrier to keep them from coming back in. We use EPA-registered products, applied precisely per label.
What products do you use around kids and pets?
We use EPA-registered products, applied carefully according to the label and only where pests travel, not where your family and pets spend time. Before we treat, we'll gladly explain what we're using, how long it takes to dry, and when it's fine to go back into treated areas.
What if the spiders come back?
If pests come back between your scheduled visits, we come back too, and we re-treat at no charge. There's no trip fee, no extra invoice, and no back-and-forth about it.
